What You Can Do to Make a Difference

1. Take your dental health seriously. Research has shown time and time again that oral health is related to whole body health.
2. Educate yourself in dental health and how it relates to you. How you care for your oral health is dependent upon your individual situation.
3. Volunteer in a free or nonprofit clinic.
4. Talk to your dentist and dental staff about volunteering in a free or nonprofit clinic.
5. Write your Congressional Representative and ask that steps are taken to make access to dental care available to all.
6. Talk to friends and family about the importance of getting involved and supporting access to dental care efforts
7. Donate to an organization that makes resources and access to dental health care available.
